Annually, the world sees a staggering 8 million tons of plastic pollution. To address this issue at its core, it’s essential to shift away from plastics and adopt a more sustainable, biodegradable alternative.

Enter Eco Sway, a bag crafted from natural resources. This material is waterproof, heat- resistant and biodegradable. It’s more than just a re-usable bag, Eco Sway features multiple pockets to help you segregate your purchased food. Aiming to combat pollution and reduce food waste. Notably, the materials used are derived from food waste sources in the market, and the bag even contains seeds. In an era marked by unparalleled technological advancements and the prevalent use of social media for communication, there’s a growing gap between our ability to invent new tools Graphic Design and our capacity to orchestrate meaningful interactions. Research indicates that individuals spend an average of over 8 hours daily on digital devices, yet only allocate 2-3 hours to engaging in conversations or activities with their loved ones.

Holo Cafe seeks to address this disparity by leveraging technology to enhance physical connections, offering an alternative to the virtual world that often leads to addiction and a disconnection from the people physically present in our lives. This project strives to create a platform where users can co- create and foster meaningful human connections in an increasingly digital landscape.

Mental health and well-being are topics that are just as important as physical health. On a daily basis, we as young adults face a lot of stress and do not always know how to express and regulate our emotions. One way to take care of mental health is through regular movement. Physical activity not only affects health and appearance, but also reduces stress, regulates emotions and improves mood.

The starting point for my innovation was my experience as a dancer. Nothing helps me more in dealing with emotions, stress and everyday mental difficulties than conscious movement, during which I feel free and able to express myself.

I wanted others to be able to experience this through my innovation. This is why I created EmoMotion - an interactive installation, which invites participants to move and explore their emotions. In the space of the installation your moves will be captured and transformed into engaging visualisations of colours and shapes. Participation in my installation is intended to allow you to express what you feel and focus on the experience of the here and now. Create your own image of emotion with your body, allowing you to explore the pleasure of movement.

Everyone has their own unique food preferences, allergies, religious food restrictions, etc. So, there are times when it is difficult to decide on a food menu for a family or gathering.

So the innovation I came up with is the AI Recipe Generator. This is basically an app where people fill out profiles of their food tastes, add each other as friends, form groups, and then recommend recipes based on the profiles of group members. It not only recommends recipes but also adjusts recipes based on information such as allergies and remaining ingredients in the user’s refrigerator.

Through this app, users are less worried about what food to eat every day and have the opportunity to create a variety of menus using ingredients left in the refrigerator, effectively utilizing leftover food to achieve economic benefits and reduce food waste. You can promote an eco-friendly life. In addition, by updating information about your family or friends’ food preferences themselves, you can reduce the inconvenience of asking them every time and increase intimacy by getting to know each other better.

The fashion industry has many challenges. First, trends are becoming more short term and its life cycles as well. Fast fashion is a big deal and sustainability has become an important subject. Second, the movement of gender fluidity allows for people to express themselves more or less more feminine, masculine and neutral.

However, how does the young man of today define himself? How do men find their personal identity if today’s world has different standards. Do the many fashion brands help out? Does everyone have the budget to buy expensive outfits for the sake of looking cool? Should we always just buy more clothes?

Color Me Dapper is an innovation designed for young adult men. The innovation has a tailor called Jeeves that learns about the user’s style level. This is done through doing style challenges where the user will learn about style and upload the outfits to build a personal wardrobe. Machine learning will understand what the user wears day to day and how he feels before and after wearing certain styles. Also, Jeeves assists the user to get dressed for occasions and gives him style advice which are tailored for mood, occasion, weather and inspiration.

HOGA is a pioneering solution aimed at fixing the current limitations in the education system. There are 9 identified intelligence types however, the current educational system focuses on 2, mathematical and linguistic intelligence. This is the cause of many children struggling to understand information within the traditional classroom setting. The solution for this issue is accommodation for all intelligences within the classroom setting. That is where my innovation steps in.

The HOGA toolbox is designed for students aged 6 to 12, offering accommodation for the 9 identified intelligence types. Its primary focus is on two things: first, to assist students in understanding the daily curriculum information for each subject, and second, to educate teachers on inclusive learning, ensuring equal education for all students.

The toolbox for students is based on cognitive tests conducted yearly to determine the intelligence percentages of each student. With this information, HOGA adapts its information delivery to offer each student a base for quality education. With this HOGA will help the education system reach the goals of quality education for everyone. From a speculative view that would hopefully mean reduced inequality around the world. Let’s make education inclusive for everyone!

Fast fashion is responsible for 10% of global carbon emissions, massive textile waste and raises ethical concerns. I want to create a global shift towards buying less and wearing clothes longer and make eco-friendly fabrics and local production the norm.

That’s why I’ve created Modular Rebel. This is a modular clothing piece that can be adapted to occasions, weather, and style preferences. For example, by changing pockets or sleeves. They can also buy new parts for a new style, so they don’t have to buy a completely new item.

The materials of the clothing are all-natural and sustainable. That’s why I have formulated the following HMI question: ‘How might I help young people develop their self-perception while growing up in a digital world?’. It’s now, more than ever, time to help young people with their self-image, confidence, and an accurate self-perception.

The pandemic of loneliness among young people and young adults is something real and visible in our daily lives. Therefore, we must look for solutions and arrangements for a society in which the strange thing is to feel connected and aware of what is happening around us, with others and with ourselves.

The Thief Box is a box, which does not have to be square, since it adapts to the variety of people and styles that surround us, which contains different buttons attached to personalized heads with things like hearts, animals, or any type of symbol. Each button will be connected to an action, which will make the box begin to emit lights, sounds such as personalized music, or a message from a loved one.
